It was designed to integrate the variety and diversity of scattered private homes with the economics and density of a modern apartment building
7. Why did you pick this building?
I picked this building because of its architecture that creates the uniqueness. I also picked this because it was designed to create affordable housing and to illustrate the new lifestyle that people would live in in such crowded cities. I like the fact like its build as if thousands of boxes laying on top of each other. One of the most interesting facts to me is that there is a garden equipped to each of the private houses which is very cool.

I picked this building because I feel that it is an aspect of education.The fact that it is a museum, it is a place where people learn about other things around the world. It's a place for people to come and obtain knowledge from. The most interesting thing is that it shapes like a ship and it looks very modernized in nowadays compared to new technologies around the world.

It was originally built for Expo '58. The monument was originally planned to stand there for six months. However, it became a symbol not only of the World's Fair, but of modern architecture and the city of Brussels and of Belgium. It received monument status and stayed on the former exhibition grounds for over 50 years. It is now one of Brussels' main attractions.

I picked this building because of the fact that the spheres connected together to form a unit cell. This is very unique and special because it proves how great of the technology in Belgium is and that no one should miss it. This would be a cool place to visit because I wonder how it looks inside and how you could walk around inside of the spheres.

It would be amazing to be in such a place like this and to experience its techniques and structures. The most interesting part of this building is that it is surrounded by an artificial lake.

I also like this building because of the history behind it. There is actually a story behind it about a married couple.
