FAVORITE:

LIFE magazine cover #11 LIFE (April 30, 1965)
The fetus became widely recognized after LIFE published Linnart Nilssons photograph of an 18-week-old fetus inside the womb on its April 30, 1965 cover. Swedish photographer Nilsson used an endoscope with an electronic flash to capture both the cover picture and pictures appearing inside the magazine to chronicle the beginning of human life. These pictures are part of Nilssons book, A Child is Born, which sold eight million copies in the first four days after publication.

Portrait and self-portrait tips and ideassssssss

My best tips:
  1. Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.
  2. Use a tripod. Seriously. While it’s possible to get good photos while you’re hanging on to your camera at arms-length, it’s a lot easier if you’ve got the freedom to move around a bit.
  3. Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.
Environmental Portraits:
What i like about this picture is the background and the place of the picture was taken. It looks very fresh and relaxing. I could imagine what the feeling would be laying down on the beautiful grass. I like how this picture make me feel. Its just very green and it makes me happy :]

What i like about this picture is everything about it. It's simplicity and a sense of nature. I also love how the picture was taken during sunset. It looks beautiful and flawless. It looks like the giraffe is waiting for the sun to come down and enjoying the moment.

Photography self portrait:

I like this picture because it looks like it was taken naturally. Like the women didn't have to set it up or anything. She probably just passed by and snapped it. It's a cool picture and it looks like someone took it from above but its actually just the reflection of the person taking it.

I like this picture because it looks very mysterious. It brings me the curiosity of how the picture was taken. It also looks scary at the same time. The loneliness of the street gives me chills and the girl looks like shes flying or something. Its a very cool picture

Casual portrait:

This picture gives me a feeling of family love. I really like this picture because it would make you smile by just looking at it. The picture looks so simple but yet shows a sense of love and being together is happiness.

I really like this picture because of the couple, the scene and the perfection of the picture. There's some kind of emotional feelings that this picture brings to me and I think it's love because the couple is walking together happily hand in hand. There's no worry look on their face because they are enjoying the moment that they're together. The background of the picture is beautiful. It is filled with sunshine and relaxation.

My plan for the portrait assignment:
My plan for the portrait assignment is I am going to take a portrait of my friend Ashley. The place that I want to take the picture would be somewhere near grass or on the grass and the sky as part of my background as well. Before taking the picture, I will make sure that I know which rules of photo composition to focus in order for my picture to come out the way I want it to be and also good quality.

Welcome Back Blawwwggg!

I like this photo because of the appearance of the little kid holding on to his father. This picture gives me a lot of emotions. The look on his face seems like he's very scared or maybe he's afraid that if he lets go of his father's hand, he will be gone. The way his eyes look totally change the appearance of this picture as a whole. It gives more emotional feelings toward the audience.

This is a beautiful scenery that caught my full attention. I think it's the colors that give it a sense of unique and very complex. It also looks very sophisticated by the architecture of the buildings and all the lights.

I think this picture is very cool. It is simple but the photographer captured a posture that makes the picture very special and unique as well. The reflection makes the picture even more catchy and it digs the curiosity of the audience.

1. What was the best song of 2010?
-To me, the best song of 2010 is Just the way you are by Bruno Mars.  It is the best song because it is a very meaningful song. I love the lyrics from the point of view of a guy, how he looks at his lover. I just love the way this song gives me the emotional feelings. I think this song deserves to be the best song of 2010 because it is appropriate for everyone and the story could apply to anyone :)
2. What was the best movie of 2010?
-The best movie of 2010 would be Step Up 3 because it's an amazing movie. The movie was awesomely amazing with all the dance moves come along with a love story. I think it is a very cute movie as well. It is also an inspirational movie. Those who love to dance should really watch this movie because it inspires you. The movie is also great in another way such as its technology, how they put together all the moves, details in the movie, etc.

3. What was the most important news story of the year?
-I think the most important news story of 2010 would have to be Haiti Earthquake. It is important because it had caused so many damages and injuries to the people and mostly a huge number amount of people that died. It brought grieves and sorrows to so many people in the country. It is also pathetic for the people who lost their families or have people in their family died. I think it is an event that people should remember and put in mind that they should appreciate for what they have because there are people out there who have nothing at all.

4. Who was the most important person of 2010?
-I think the most important person of 2010 would have to be President Barack Obama because he is the leader of our country. He's been trying to do his best to give us peace and to bring what us people deserve to have. President Obama is the one who takes care of our country. We should be appreciative toward his actions for our country. Without him, there would be no one to lead this country and things would go wrong because he is the current president.

1. Tell me what is the one thing that happened on your holiday that you will remember? It can be a trip, a family visit, a present, something fun.
-One thing that I will remember is when everyone in my family include my cousins were counting down to my birthday. I was very appreciative for their presence on my most important date. I will be very grateful for what they have done to be. I think that is the only event that is worth remembering in my whole entire year of 2010.

2. What are your resolutions for the 2011 year?
My resolutions for the year of 2011 are to lose weight(hahahaha), to be good, to maintain my relationship status strong and finally to make everybody around me happy :)

3. What are you looking forward to in 2011?
-I am looking forward to going to California in the summer with my whole family. I hope we will have a lot of fun and I really can't wait to see my other part of family over there :)
